Can you even imagine what it would be like to suffer from Alzheimer's disease; or to have a family member who suffers from it? Two American engineers, Abilio and Paqui, empathized with Alzheimer patients and became interested in finding a way to help them out. They created a way to attach a GPS system to Alzheimer patients. Now, if a patient gets lost, or forgets where he or she lives, a family member or guardian will be able to ascertain their whereabouts. In addition many of the new BlackBerry phones and Sprint phones are also equipped with GPS and can be used with GPS software.
